Keeping Your Cleanroom Clean. Period.
Here’s the reality of semiconductor work: in a Class 100 cleanroom, a single speck of dust can ruin everything. So when you need intense, focused heat, you can’t just grab any heater. You need one that refuses to contaminate. We built our high-purity quartz infrared heaters for exactly that high-stakes moment. The kind of spot where cleanliness isn’t just a goal—it’s the only option.
Power in a Tiny Package
These heaters are all about performance where space is tight. A typical unit runs on 400V and packs 2500W of power into a 300mm tube. That’s a lot of heat, concentrated in a small area. The payoff? You can heat your target fast, without turning the whole machine into a hot box. It’s a compact design by intention, because in semiconductor equipment, real estate is precious.
The Secret: Pure Quartz
The heart of this heater is the quartz envelope. Unlike metal-sheath heaters, high-purity quartz doesn’t shed particles, even when it heats up and cools down quickly. And the infrared element is halogen-based, so it turns on instantly and holds steady. We coat the quartz to keep the filament contained and prevent hot spots that could break things down over time. For the electrical connection, we use R7s or SK15 connectors. They’re tough, high-temp, and stay secure. No wiggle. No melting. Just a solid connection you can rely on.
Built for the Real World
In semiconductor manufacturing, this heater slips right in as a cleaner, tougher replacement for standard infrared units. It handles the heat load for wafer processing, bonding, and testing—without adding contaminants to the mix. But here’s the trade-off you should know: that kind of power density creates serious heat. If you’re running a 2500W unit in a tight spot, your machine’s airflow and cooling have to be up to the task. Otherwise, you risk pushing components to fail early. It’s the price of running high power in a clean environment. Plan for the heat, and you get the performance without the worry.
